Croissants and Tang.

That is my morning breakfast here. Mmmm.

When people said that the Argentinians eat late, they were not kidding around. We left for dinner at 11pm last night. After walking maybe 30 minutes we arrived at our destination. I was exhausted and hangry (hungry + angry). That all melted away with the bread and spicy spread, wine, and delicious steak. Gerald (Germany), Davide (Italy), and Georgei (Bulgaria) enjoyed an excellent meal and conversation. We got home about 1:30am, about the time when everyone else is getting ready to go out to the clubs. I crashed :)

The photos include our hostel's rooftop terrace, people inline-skating through the streets (apparently this is a big nighttime activity here), the Casa del Rosa at night (I think that's what it's called), our steak-seeking group at the restaurant, and a university protest of some sort that we came upon on our way home (we just kept walking).

In other news, I would like you all to know that my humor is universal. People totally laugh at my jokes here. Either that or they're laughing at me but I will remain optimistic.

Today Chelsea (Philly, also in the pics below) and I have plans to visit Recoleta, the neighborhood with the amazing cemetery and market, then in the afternoon La Boca.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
